Confederation of Nepalese Industries (CNI) is a professionally led manufacturing and service sector industry centered apex body of the large and medium scale industrial community of Nepal. I t was established on April 17, 2002. CNI is operational in all seven provinces of Nepal. The broader purpose of CNI is to enhance competitiveness of the Nepalese Industrial Community through production efficiency and Contribute to the sustainable development. In line with the clear aspiration of the CNI to become Industrial Excellence Centre, Energy Efficiency Desk is established on December 2019. The Desk has all three: business, environment and social purposes for its establishment. Through Energy Efficiency it believes to contribute the industrial community abating the production cost; contribute the environment by reducing the greenhouse gas (CO2) emission; and contribute to society making available more energy for society (because, one unit saving is equal to one unit generation)
